Privacy

Your statements never leave your device. PointMaxx reads them inside your web browser, works out your results there, and forgets everything when you close the page. We never see your statements, your spending or your results.

Last updated October 29, 2026

In short: no uploads, no accounts, no cookies, no tracking, no ads. The site never loads anything from another website. You only reach another site by clicking a link to one, such as a card issuer's page.

What happens to your statements

When you add a CSV or PDF statement, your browser opens it on your own computer or phone. Every step after that happens in the page itself: reading the purchases, sorting them into categories, and comparing cards. Your files and everything read from them stay in your browser's memory, and they're gone as soon as you close or reload the page.

Nothing about your statements is sent to us or to anyone else: not the files, not the purchases, not the totals, and not the results. That includes the categories you change and the cards you pick. Those answers also stay in the page and disappear when you close it.

What we don't collect

What your browser downloads from us

To show you the site, your browser downloads the site's own files from our server: the page, its styles and fonts, the code that does the math, the list of card terms, and a PDF reader that loads only if you add a PDF. Every one of those comes from this site. None of them come from Google, ad networks or any other company. Your browser only asks for those files; it never sends your statements or anything read from them.

What our web host can see

PointMaxx is hosted by Cloudflare. Like every website's host, Cloudflare keeps basic server logs: your IP address, the time, and which of the site's files were downloaded. These logs are standard for any website. They never include your statements or anything read from them, because those never reach the server. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Our host also counts visits to the site, such as how many people visit and from which country, the same way every website's server does. We look at those totals to see how many people use PointMaxx. They never include your statements, and no tracking script runs in your browser to collect them.

Check it yourself

You don't have to take our word for it.

The site also tells your browser to refuse to load anything from, or send anything to, another website: a second layer of protection on top of our code. We check all of this with an automated test that adds statements, goes through every page, and fails if the site contacts another website or saves anything in your browser.

Your privacy rights

Because PointMaxx collects no personal information, there's nothing for us to look up, correct, delete, sell or share under privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. You're still welcome to email us with any request or question.

Children

PointMaxx isn't meant for children under 13, and it collects nothing from anyone, children included.

Estimates, not advice

PointMaxx's results are estimates from your past statements and each card's published terms. They aren't financial advice and aren't a promise that you'll be approved for any card. Card terms change, so check the issuer's page before you apply.
